I am a Peninsula native, born and raised in Los Altos. Sports have been a very important part of my life since childhood. At St. Francis High School, I played both offense and defense for the CCS Champion Lancers football team as well as competed in wrestling. For several years I was the team chiropractor for the National Champion San Francisco City College Rams. More recently, I was the team physician for the Serra Padres. I enjoy skiing, running, biking, and hiking. I greatly appreciate the outdoors, and my newest exercise obsession is erging (indoor rowing). After graduating from UCLA with a Physiology Sciences degree, I knew I wanted to continue in the health field. My love for sports, the outdoors, and practicing wellness led me to Chiropractic. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, and I have been practicing for over 25 years. I am delighted to be back in San Mateo.
On a personal note - I married my college sweetheart. We have two children - one in grad school and one in college. We have two dogs. We have a Silver Labrador puppy called Stanley (named after a town in Sun Valley that we adore); and the Golden Retriever, Chewy (named after Chewbacca). As a family, we do a lot of activities together. My wife and I are heavily involved in the local community with volunteering at school and local community organizations.
